About
Me |

|
First of all, I am a wife, mama, and
child of God.
My family--immediate, original,
and extended--is my treasure, as are my friends.
The Central Coast of California is
where I make my home, with the mountains and ocean being within easy
distance.
I love my job because I get to
learn every day!
I love words and read anything:
from the backs of cereal boxes, to pop literature, to poetry, to the
Bible. I enjoy writing words, as well.
I hate conflict and
complaining.
A favorite combination: good
friend, good wine, good conversation.
Impulsivity, impatience, and
immoderation are weaknesses. Maintaining hope, working
hard, and being tenacious are strengths.
Developing a midlife passion for
the NBA is the most surprising recent occurance in my life. Still
being in school (as a student) is the most unsurprising one.
The greatest gift someone can give to
me is entrusting his or her story to me.
After nearly forty years of having
resisted anything that remotely smacked of consistency in the areas of
healthy eating and exercise, I rarely miss my morning walk
or run, and read the nutritional information on the backs of packages
and in menus enough to irritate my husband.
After over forty years of having been crazy for anything remotely
related to dogs, that hasn't changed and I have a German Shepherd and
Husky mix as evidence of this.
I love creating things.
Painting, sewing, making hand-made paper, quilting, and drawing are
fun! Each of these pales in comparison to crafting with
hardshelled gourds, however.
About technology:
learning to create a website is my latest--and most
fun--learning. And getting email from you would be lovely!
