I Can Write a Narrative!
Mapping
Your Story
In order to write a narrative, you
must think about who will be in it (the characters). You must
think about where and when (the setting) it takes place. If your
narrative is going to be a story, there must be a problem (conflict)
and a solution. You can help yourself think about these things by
creating graphic organizers. Click on the funny pencil
below, or the text below it to create and print graphic organizers for
your narrative.
Writing
Interesting Sentences
Sometimes, it is a good idea just to
practice writing some interesting sentences for your narrative.
Click on the book below (or the text below it) to play a sentence
writing game. Make sure you have your writing journal with you
when you play it.
