| Promise As you sit in silence, Wondering why. I'll be your shoulder to cry on, Until your tears run dry. When you've been hurt, And can't believe what they've done. If you need someone to talk to, I'll be the one. If a close friend hurts you, And you don't understand. Remember I'm here, I'll lend a helping hand. Burdens are lighters, When carried by two. And I just want you to know, I'm here for you. |
| A Heart Is Fragile A heart is fragile, And I don't want to see yours break. I treasure all of the, Moments we make. When you've been hurt, I am too. Even if you can't see, I want you too. When you're around, You make my days worthwhile. And when you're not, I miss your smile. A friend is precious, So I wouldn't want to lose you. The way you care for me, I feel the same too. Friendship is a priceless gift, Filled with love, and hate it's not. Without a friend like you, I'd be missing out a lot. I wouldn't want anyone, To come and split us apart.
