I Promise

For a love that is true, through time is hard to find,
A special person, with a heart full of love and you are so kind.

I wouldn't trade one day with you for all the tomorrows,
You have filled my heart with such joy, and taken away my
sorrows.

This I do promise, till you say no more,
To walk hand in hand, along lifes' sandy shore.

I promise to love you, and treat you as such
Because you are in my heart, I love you so much.

I will not hurt you, please be sure,
How could I mistreat this love that is so pure?

If for granted I someday do take thee,
Look deep into my eyes, and please forgive me.
