To Love Again

Many loves had I, but all left such sadness and pain.

Did I love to hard or hold on too tight?
Had I done things differently would I be
free of this loneliness?

Now destined to be alone, I write upon these pages
the feelings of the heart. Acceptance and contentment
surround me making way as to at last find myself.

One is lonely if they so choose. You are what you believe is fact.
For loneliness as in age is all in the attitude.

To love again, only time knows the answer.
I shall not run from it, but nor shall It consume my very being.

To love again, maybe another place, another time.
