I heard on the radio that Lil Tyke and another puppy were stollen from Brain and LeighAnne's house. What they say happened was the LeighAnne was out playing with the dogs in the yard when the doorbell rang and when she went to get it no one was there. When she went back outside, the dogs were gone. Eyewitnesses said that they saw two girls putting two dogs in a car. Now Brian is offering a very generous reward.

AJ will appear as a host on the 2000 Miss US Teen Pagent which will be filmed July 22nd at the Hard Rock Live in Orlando. He will preform on the show as Jonhy No Name. 2000 tickets will go on sale at TicketMaster June 15th for $30,$40 and $50. The show will air in September.
Now our hot boys will become cute little dolls. On August 28th the Burger Kind promotion begins for the new tour. The toys of the boys will be their characters from The Backstreet Project, Nick's comic book. Also there will be 3 CD's. The CD's will include a previously unreleased song and other multimedia things such as live recordings. Further more, a video with live home videos of their time recording and in the studio and backstage footage.
First comes Millennium TV and now webasodes, an animated version of the Backstreet Project online. Nick Carter teamed up with Stan Lee to create the comic book for the milllennium and it will be appearing August 26th on Backstreet's offical website.

Talk about saving the music. AJ is going to be in Rockafellar Center for a week, starting Monday, to be collecting instraments to help save the music.
Wedding Bells ring for Kevin. I forgot to enter it in on the day that I heard it but Kevin got married to fiancee Kristan Wittlis. It may or may not have been on the weekend on June 3rd-4th.
Nick was feeling out of the loop with everybody having their own foundation and everything so he desided to join in the fun. He heard that Tampa Children's Hospital and St. Joseph's were in need of some finacial aid, Nick came up with the idea of a charity b-ball game. "We did this because it's fun, it's for a good cause and frankly, Tampa deserves it." The event had both he and Brain, sponcered by the local radio station 93.3 FLZ (like in the WGIGO video). They were given wresteling tips by pro wrestler Hulk Hogan to take the beatings from their oponants, football players from the Tampa Bay Buccaners. Of course, THE BOYS won and they raised $20,000 for the hosptals!

According to Pop Star, Nick is going to have a solo album out before the next full length BSB album. That means sometime before October.
On May 9th the Boys were invited to attend the Blockbuster Entertainment Awards. They accepted two awards that night, one for best group and the other for best CD. Go guys:)
Howie along with his two sisters Pollyann and Angie, are setting up "Lupus 2000", a benefit concert in memory of their late sister Caroline. Christina Agularia, Sting, Debrah Cox, Leighann Rimes, Jordan Knight and fellow Backstreeter AJ McLean have all been approached as well as Seal, who has also been personally diagnosed with the disease.
The one and only Nick Carter has graced us as being one of the 50 Most Beautiful People In The World 2000, according to People. Of course he along with the rest of the Boys are to us to. Way to go Nick!

I heard this morning on K104 radio station that a third Backstreet Boy has joined our Kentucky natives in their new trend. AJ McLean got engaged to his longtime girlfriend Amanda from the vocal group Innocence. Best wishes to both of you.

Well, this isn't about the Backstreet Boys but it's related to them. Actually, she's related to Nick. Leslie Carter who was signed to Dreamworks last year is expected to release her first single in early June. Her debut album is expected to be out towards the end of the year.
As almost everybody knows, two years ago Brian Littrell had heart surgery. Something that was a scary experience for anyone that's close to him. Now he wants to help kids learn how to prevent heart problems that can be controled. He founded the Healthy Heart Club last year at St. Josheph's Hospital where he was a patient for his heart surgery. It invited 10 kids to come in and learn about their heart and proper nutrition, exercise, etc. The founation has raised over $100,000 in donations already. As you know BSB went through a lawsiut with exsecutive producer Lou Pearlman a while back because they didn't think they we getting a fair share of the profits that the Backstreet merchandise was bringing in. Well it looks like it paid off, litterally. Forbes' new Celebrity 100 list places their 1999 earnings at $60 million. That figure beats out Rolling Stones and Shania Twian. Cha-ching!

As of now, Howie will be making a guest appearance on the seasons finale of the WB's Roswell which is on Mondays at 9. He will play an evil alien that has come to earth. Also, I hear that he might be coming back next year for a few appearances.
MOVE OVER DIVAS, THE BOYS HAVE SOMETHING TO OFFER TOO! Backstreet Boys took a trip to VH1 studios on April 11th to film a boys version of Diva's Live. They are accompanied by Enrique Iglasias, Sisco, Sting, Tom Jones and many more with a guest appearance by Christina Agulaira. The showing of Men Strike Back will be aired on VH1 April 18th at 9pm. I saw the previews, it looks cute!
Brian will be working on the soundtrack to Olive Juice in which his fiancee LeighAnne Wallace will be appearing. He also has a small role in the movie and AJ has just recently been added to the cast.
Down in Orlando Sherman Hemsley has been working on a new project. A new sitcom called "Love Thy Neighbor". He has just sign Howie on to write the music for the show as well as guest star. The shooting will take place in O-town April 16th through the 27th.
I would just like to clarify that number one, AJ is not engaged. And number two, the Backstreet Boys are not breaking up. Yes Aj is on a solo tour but after that the five of them are going into the studio to record a new album.
