“Wonder”

 

I often wonder,

What I’m doing to myself.

I often wonder,

If he’s worth the pain.

I often wonder,

If the words he says are true.

I often wonder,

If there’s another girl.

I often wonder,

If I worry too much.

I often wonder,

What I should say.

I often wonder,

If he’s being true.

I often wonder,

If I should be true.

I often wonder,

If my heart is saying these things.

I often wonder,

If God is making me think these things.

I often wonder,

If I should call it off.

I often wonder,

If he’s going to call it off.

I often wonder,

If he will ever call me.

I often wonder,

If he will ever want to be with me.

I often wonder,

If this is all true.

I often wonder,

About what I should do.

I often wonder,

If he will stop hurting me.

I often wonder,

If I will stop hurting myself.

I often wonder,

If God will stop all the pain. . . .
