"Someday"

 

Even though we have not known each other long,

My feelings for you are just as strong,

As if I would have known you for years.

 

You have always been there,

With some advice,

Or with some comfort.

 

It's a shame we can't be together,

For we live across the seas,

Maybe that "Someday" will come along.

 

I will pray and wish,

For that "Someday,"

And maybe then it will come true.

 

Until then, please pray with me,

Two prayers are better than one,

It'd be more likely for that day to come.

 

You are my friend,

That's all that really matters,

I will pray for that "Someday" until it comes.
