Whenever you needed me,

I've always been there,

Whenever I needed you,

You were never there.

 

I'm loyal to you,

In hopes to have it returned.

You trust me to be there,

I wish I could trust you the same.

 

When I don't need you,

I can always reach you,

As soon as I need you,

You're out of my sight.

 

I wish that just once,

You'd be home when I need you.

I wish that just once,

You'd return the loyalty I've given to you.

 

I'm tired of being used,

I'm tired of being alone,

I'm tired of being left,

With no one home.

 

Why can't you return,

The friendship I've given to you?

Why can't you be there,

Just once when I need you?
