Starter animals are those animals in a breed that are created by the game staff in order to get that breed started in the game. Each breed is allowed to have ten starter animals, 5 females and 5 males. If a player in interested in a breed that is not in the game at that point, the player may request anywhere from one to ten of the starter animals. Should the first player requesting that breed not take all ten of the starter animals, additional players may request the starter animals until all ten are in the game.

Note: Starters will be carriers for genetic disorders found in the breed. They will not be affected, but will carry the diseases as a recessive gene.

To request starter animals of a particular breed, first make sure that not all ten of the starter animals are in the game, then send an e-mail to the game e-mail [email protected] with the subject STARTERS REQUEST. In your message, specify the breed, how many, and what sex of the starter animals you would like to request. Starters are available at $400 each.

Note: Before requesting starters, you must have all necessary building structures and supplies on hand, or else the animals you request will be sent to the Humane Society.
