The first time a player breaks a rule, they will be given a warning. If the player breaks the same rule a second time, they will be given a fine (game money, the amount varies depending on the rule). If the player breaks the rule a third time, they will be suspended for a certain amount of time (which also varies by rule). After this set time, the player may apply to re-join Luv 4 Pets, if they wish. Should they break the same rule once more, they will be permanently removed from the game.

Player Conduct

Each player must treat all other players with respect. Disagreements must be handeled in a polite manner, and at no time will direct insults to other players be tolerated, neither will name-calling, harassing, or sabatoging other players.

Players of all ages and backgrounds are allowed in this game, therefore language must be suitable for all. Cursing and swearing are not allowed, nor are any lewd comments. The only exception to this rule is using the term "bitch" as it applies to a female dog, and in no other way. Sexually harassing another player in any way will result in immediate removal from the game. The same applies to racist comments of any kind.

Player e-mail addresses are for game use only. Sharing another player's e-mail address with any outside party is strictly forbidden. Non game related e-mail is also not allowed to be sent to any game address. You, of course, may discuss whatever matters you choose among yourselves, as long as it is not conducted through any Luv 4 Pets e-mail addresses.

If a player should send viruses to any of the Luv 4 Pets e-mail lists (intentional or otherwise), they will be removed from said lists. Once the player has fixed the problem, they must send a private message to the game staff at the game address [email protected] to be added back to the Luv 4 Pets e-mail lists.

All decisions made by the Luv 4 Pets staff are final and cannot be reversed, unless the decision is overidden by Lanie, creator and webmaster of L4P. Lanie is the only staff member to have the power to override other game staff decisions.

Animal Care

All animals must be kept in the proper shelter for their breed/species, and the shelter must be equipped with all necessary supplies.

Players must purchase an adequate amount of feed for each and every animal, every two real time (RT) weeks from the time the player receives their first animal. Should a player not have adequate feed for any of their animals, those animals will be sent to the Humane Society. The owner must pay the HS fine to reclaim their animal, and they will be put on the HS watchlist. If that animal is sent to the HS a second time, the owner will not be allowed to reclaim it.

Each animal must be taken to the Veterinarian once a year game time (GT) for a well-pet exam. (This would be every three months RT.) Every animal must receive the Rabies vaccination each GT year (every 3 months RT). In addition to the action taken due to breaking this rule, the owner will receive a fine from the Humane Society (acting as city council).

Players may not use copywritten images, text, or other material on your website or in e-mails without the POSTED permission of the copywrite holder. This includes photographs, music, art, descriptions, breed standards, or artwork directly derived from photographs.
