Ross: So anyone want anything to drink?
Chandler: Yeah definently..something strong!
Joey: And get me something three times as strong as Chandler's! (Rachel and Pheobe walk in and sit on the couch as Ross gets up to go to the counter and get the coffee)
Rachel (not noticing Janice): Hey Joey...there's a note on your apartment door from Janice. Wow, I wonder what she wants.
Janice: HAHAHAHA(you know the laugh) Hey there Rachel, hey Pheobe.
Rachel(a little shocked): Janice, hi! Look at you here! Why exactly are you here.
Janice: HAHAHAHA. Well I was looking for my Bing-A-Ling over there. I called your apartment, but some girl answered so I figured I had the wrong number. So I just came on over and when no one was at the apartment, I figured where else but the coffee house?
Joey: Yeah um...well that would be my apartment now. And the girl that answered was my new roomate, Janine, the dancer.
Janice: What? So where do you live Chandler?
Mon(finally speaking up looking kind of uncomfortable since Janice had sat down): He lives with me now. So um why did you come by any way Janice?
Janice: With you Monica? Why would he live with you and Rachel?
Chan: Well Janice I just got sick of Joey and needed a change.
Mon(obviously shocked and upset by his response): Um Chandler want to try the truth this time?
(Janice looks confused) Chan(uncomfortable): Alright. Um Jancie, Rachel doesn't live there any more. And me and Monica are sort of in a relationship at the moment.
Janice(obviously upset): A couple, oh I see how it is. HAHAHA well then I guess my coming by was kind of pointless then. Well bye everybody. Bye Chandler Bing.
(Janice gets up and walks toward the door and Ross sits down where she had been with the coffees)
Pheobe: Well that was interesting!
Chan(getting up): Yeah! Hang on guys, I better run and see what she wanted. I'll be right back.
Mon(bitterly): Ok Chandler you do that, but be ready because tonight we are going to have a little discussion on your response to the current living conditions.
(Chandler walks outside and sees Janice trying to catch a cab)
Chan: Hey Janice. So, um, how did you find out I wasn't in Yemin?
Janice: Hey there Chandler. Ross indirectly told me on one of our few dates. Why did you come out?
(There's an obvious uncomfortable tension in the air)
Chan: Well Janice I just thought I'd come see what exactly you meant when you said your coming was pointless. Why exactly did you come looking for me?
Janice: Oh well Chandler, its just that I haven't had a relationship since me and Ross! I'm miserable, and I guess I was kind of hoping that my Bing-A-Ling would be miserable to, so maybe we could start a little thing between us.
Chan: Well Janice, sorry but for one of the first times in a long time I'm anything but miserable. So I'm sorry, but you're not going to get any sort of relationship from me.
Janice: And I guess there is nothing I can do about that, so good luck to you. Do you think that Joey would go for a little fling with me? HAHAHAHAHA!
Chan: Yeah um, I'm gonna go with no, sorry. Bye Janice.
( Janice suddenly pulls him close and kisses him just as Monica walks out)
(Chandler pulls away from Janice just in time to see Monica standing there shocked)
Chan: Oh nonononono! It's not like that Monica! Really Mon it's not!
Mon(obviously devistated): It's ok Chandler, I see how it is, I'm going up to my room now. Bye Janice, wish I could say nice seeing you again, but that would be an obvious lie now wouldn't it.
(Monica walks away)
Chan: Oh man, this is awful! Janice how could you do that? I told you I was involved with Monica! I told you, how could you! I have to go, I have to catch her and explain!
Janice: Oh Bing-A-Ling! Look what she's doing to you. I would never make you feel this way! Come back to me! I won't presure you into any form of commitment, I promise.
Chan: I'm not you're Bing-A-Ling so stop calling me that! And you know what, you used to make me feel so much worse! The situation with your ex-husband and kid! Monica makes me feel great and now for all I know that might be gone! I have to go!
Janice: Just keep my offer in mind.
Chan(to himself, a little confused): What was that. That is not at all like the Janice I remember.
Scene: Chandler and Monica's apartment. Monica is washing dishes at the sink. She's obviously upset.
Chan: Monica, Monica oh thank god you're here!
Mon(Very upset): You know what Chandler, you are the last person I want to see right now! I went back to let you explain and saw you kissing Janice as she got into a cab. What is going on exactly?
Chan: The thing is Monica Janice kissed me, both times, I didn't kiss her. All I did was pull away. It meant absolutly nothing!
Mon: Alright, say I believe you when you say that...that it was nothing. But why exactly didn't you want to tell her about our living condition? And why are we just a couple at the moment, you know that at the moment puts some doubts in my mind about just how serious you actually are about us.
Chan: Monica, I love you. You know that. Janice means nothing to me. And I meant nothing by the at the moment remark. You don't need to worry. I promise!
Mon: Why exactly did Janice come to find you anyway?
Chan(uncomfortably): Well.....she wanted to become involved with me again.
Mon: And what did you say to her?
Chan: Monica, I obviously said no! Come on, give me a little credit here!
(There's a knock on the door. Chandler opens it and Janice is standing there)
Chan(Very surprised): Look Janice this is not the best time. Mon(Still upset): No let her come in! Because you know what, I'm leaving for a little while Chandler. Have fun!
Chan: Please Monica, stay, I want you to be here.
Janice: I just came by to see if it was really true, that the two of you were together. But I mean you're fighting like a couple so I'm guessing it is. I missed my chance with you Chandler. It's very obvious that you are deeply in love with her. I mean to tell the truth, the whole time we were together I wondered how long it was going to take you to realize that she was the one for you.
Mon(softly): What exactly do you mean?
Janice: The way you two always used each other for support. You have always been there for each other to talk to and cheer each other up. I used to notice the wierd romantic tension between the two of you, but I never said any thing. You always used to tell each other about your relationship problems, it was inevitable that you two were going to eventually become a couple. And you've finally done that and I'm happy for you.
(Monica looks very touched through all of Janice's speach)
Janice: Oh, and Monica, what you saw was all my fault. I don't know what my intentions were, but I now realize that it hurt you both, and I'm sorry, But don't be mad at him, it's my fault. And I guess I'm going to go now. Bye.
Rachel: Wow, we heard everything.
Joey: Yeah, you are really lucky Chandler! Wow, that was so great of her to come back here!
Rach: Am I sensing a change of your feelings towards Janice?
Joey: Haha...NO! I'm just saying that it was nice of her, I still can't stand her and I hope to never ever see or hear her again!
Chan: So Mon, did Janice's little speach help at all? Do you believe me now?
Mon(no longer bitter but incredibly touched): Yeah, I guess I believe that you didn't have bad intentions. You are just SO lucky she came back!
Chan: Oh, yeah I guess I am.(smiling) But you forgive me and that's all that matters.
(He leans in to kiss her but she backs away)
Mon: But you know there is still the issue of what you said to her in the coffee house about our living conditions. Why couldn't you tell her the truth right away?
Chan(uncomfortable so half kidding): I don't know Mon, you know me. I have commitment issues. I paniced for some reason and just blurted something out.
Mon: Yeah well I'm not liking the blurting you did or the fact that you can blame it on commitment issues, because the thing is, moving in is a big commitment.
Chan: Yeah I know, and I'm sorry. (smiling) I love you
(He moves in to kiss her lightly)
Mon(smiling and laughing a little bit): Now what did I say about that back in the coffee house? That doesn't work for everything. You're just lucky that I still love hearing that.
(They move closer and kiss each other. As they break apart they notice Joey and Rachel still standing there smiling) Chan(smiling): Um, don't you guys have somewhere to be?
Joey: I know I don't.
Rachel (Pulling Joey towards the door): Don't worry we can take a hint. Have fun you two.
(Rachel and Joey leave and shut the door behind them. Chandler and Monica move in and kiss each other again.)
Mon(kidding): So I'm too neat for you, huh?
Chan(smiling): Don't worry Mon, all this cleanliness stuff is finally starting to grow on me after spending so much time with you all these years.
Mon: Do you think that everything Janice said was true? About how it was obvious we were meant to be together?
Chan: I don't know. I think it's kind of fun to think she was right though.
Mon: Yeah, but if it was so obvious, wouldn't you think someone would have said something to us sooner?
Chan: I don't really know. When Ross had it so bad for Rachel no one told her. She found out by an accident on my part.
Mon: That's true, but I guess it doesn't really matter. I mean we're together now, that's what really matters.
(They kiss each other)
Chan(lovingly): That's all that matters.
(They kiss each other again lightly. They then hug each other as the scene fades away.)
