Sadly on Sunday 15th March 09 we received the news that Nessie Ferguson past away. Nessie was a member for many years and was a past champion and President of the ladies section. Nessie will be missed by all who knew her. Nessie was a regular at the club and even her recent ill health did not stop her from attending when possible. Our thoughts go out to her family at this time. The Funeral is on Friday 20th March at 10am at Warriston Crematorium.

It is with sadness that we have to announce the death of Jock Weir. Jocky was a member for 50 years and just recently received a memento to recognise this acheivment at our AGM in February. Even though he was not able to participate in bowling he was still an active member of the club and could be found most Friday nights enjoying a game of dominoes and a wee drink with his friends. The Funeral will be held at Mortonhall Crematorium, Pentland Chapel on Thursday 5th March at 2.30pm.
