Inside the Great Deku Tree
When you got your sword and shield, Mido will let you pass. Then, The Great Deku Tree will make a speech and you can finally go in. When you go in, you have to avoid, or kill, those vicious flower things, you'll either receive a deku nut or a deku stick. The goal is to break the net covering the hole. You'll have to go to the third floor to to this ( don't bother trying jumping off the second floor, it doesn't work.) Anyways, climb the vines or the ladder to get to the second floor. There are skulltulas where the vines on the second floor are, and there is a treasure chest, open it and you'll get the dungeon's map. Before you climb the vines and get attacked, go beyond the skulltuals and enter the room. You'll have to fight the tree grub thing. L-target it and use your shield to bounce back the deku nut, then slash it with your sword and it will say please forgive and blah, blah, blah, and you get a heart piece to fill one of your hearts. Do not go back to the door you came from, go to the door opposite of the direction you came from and that's where you get your slingshot. Go back to the skulltuals, L-target them and shoot them down. Once that is done, climb up the vines to the third floor. But before you jump off, go in to the door somewhere around there. You'll get the dungeon's compass which shows you where you are in the map and where all the skulltulas and treasure chests are. To get out of the room, use a deku stick. Light your deku stick with the torch on the side and light the other torch, press A to put the deku stick away so you don't waste it. Now, jump off the third floor directly onto the net and you'll fall through.
Once you fall through, look up the vines and you will see a golden skulltula, shoot it with your slingshot and climb up the vines to get it. You got a golden skulltula token. Then climb up the edge and you'll see a stepping button. Step on it and it the torch behind you will light on fire. There's treasure chest by it, open it and you'll get a heart piece ( I think...) Then light one of your deku sticks and jump off the ledge, but make sure you land on the platform that is underwater or your deku stick will be put out. Jump on the other side and light the spider webs. Go through the door. I think there is another scrub thing that shoots out at you but I forgot, anyways, somewhere in there, you'll meet another one and he will tell you how to defeat his brothers. Twenty-three is number one he says. To get out of there, shot the silver eye on top of the door and it will open. You'll have to light all the torches to get out. Then, you'll met Ghoma hatchlings and they will attack you. you have to light the stick and burn the webs and crawl through the door as quickly as possible. you can burn the other webs too but they are not necessary. Crawl through the tunnel and you'll be on the other side of where you came from. Before you jump off the ledge, make sure you push the box on the far left from the tunnel. Face it and press A, pay attention to the action icon and push it off the ledge. After you did that, get another deku stick and light it on fire, jump off and land on the box, then climb the small ledge, then while walking to the web covering the hole, press A to roll and the web will burn and you'll fall through. Get some hearts before you fight the grub-thingy brothers. Remember, you'll have to shoot the 2nd one, 3rd one, and then the 1st one. If you mess up, you'll have to start over. The first grub-thing will tell you how to defeat Queen Ghoma. Go through the door, it will slam down. Then use C-up to look on the roof top. You'll see Queen Ghoma and she'll see you. Then she drops down on the floor and her name will appear on the screen as something something Queen Ghoma.
To fight her, L-target her eyes and when they turn red, shoot it with your slingshot. Then, she will be stunned. Slash her with your sword and she will retreat and lay eggs on you. Kill them before they hatch!! She'll come down again and do the whole procedure again for about 2 more times, I think. She'll die and you get a heart container witch will raise your hearts to 4 hearts. Go into the blue light and talk to Great Deku Tree again and he will give you The Spiritual Stone of The Forest, I think is what is called. He'll tell you about the fairies that came down to earth and made Hyrule and blah, blah, blah. and then he dies. *Sniff*
