| So last night it happened. I recieved a private message from Baron in my inbox. Read it in it's entirety here. The following is the same thing, just broken down. | |||||||||||||||||||

| I am a person of enough intellegence to differentiate between dislike and disagreement. I have friends, both online and in real life, of various points of the political and social spectrums and I've had many a spirited debate with them. I also respect those who wish to not debate. While Baron's selfish indifference to the suffering of other people may not have given me warm, fuzzy feelings about him, I certainly respected his right to speak his mind, if that's how he felt. That said, I naturally exercised my right to disagree with him, and in the thread in question, I think I did so with a great deal of respect. | |||||||||||||||||||

| And as much as a history buff like me enjoys yammering about the past, I won't bore anyone with a brush up on US History 101. I will only say that Baron's version of things is lacking many important details. Though I will point out that the reason Americans have the rights we do is because they are naturally existing rights that all humans are born with. We just happen to have a government that recognizes and protects thems. |

| This paragraph reminds me of how I used to argue with my parents when I was younger... Within instants of them not letting me have my way, I would have countless arguments against their point. Slowly but surely, I would work through each one, starting with the most solid and ending with absurd scenarios, that I had built from tiny grasped straws. Baron's idea that FLUGO really is 'an underground gaming organization' has to be just that kind of ludicrous, plucked from the clouds argument. I'll give Baron enough credit to know that he's not dense enough to actually believe that FLUGO was intended as an 'underground gaming organization'. | |||||||||||||||||||
| And even if Dan is a dictator, I would much rather be 'ruled' by a guy as easy going and approachable as he is than be 'leadered' by someone as angry and uncommunicative as Baron. The entire reason this whole brouhaha occurred is because no one wanted to be the one to say, 'Baron, you're going to far. You're not going to be a mod at G4. Maybe you should tone it down. We were all afraid of the very thing that happened: that Baron's temper would get the best of him, and that he wouldn't be able to get over it. Well, look what happened. | |||||||||||||||||||

| Two final thoughts for this page: 1. Yes, it is a constant power struggle. And your ass got BANNED. 2. I've already had many a stay in Hell. And none of them were ever caused by a jackass with a computer. |
