Manic Street Preacher News: 5th September 2000 - from nme.com
Manic Street Preachers are making their new album in Spain with long-time collaborator Dave Eringa at the mixing desk, nme.com can reveal. The follow-up to 1998's 'This is my Truth, tell me yours' is tipped to be a return to the Manics' punk rock roots, away from the sweeping stadium rock of their last two albums and closer to their last single 'Masses against the Classes.' A source close to the Manics told nme.com "From the stuff they've done so far, its just full-on punk. They've just gone back to the four-blokes-in-a-room style." For the full story see this week's NME, September 9, in shops in London today (September 5th) and throughout the UK tomorrow. |
