37038 pictured at Bury after arriving from Rawtenstall at 1538ish.

Time for more refreshment, this time at the Two Tubs in Bury more Thwaites bitter and a new one from them, Thoroughbred 4% .Followed by fish & chips, then time to view 40135 arrive at 1638 pictured below.

40135 then ran around, then with D345 on top worked the 1700 to Rawtenstall, where after plenty of thrash it is pictured at Rawtenstall, anyone guess who's standing next to D345? [ clue he had much more hair in the early 80's! ]

Finally we see 40135 after D345 has run around to take the whole train back to Bury at 1800.

Arriving back at Bury at 1838 and many memories relived, it's time for a short walk to the Metrolink and tram 1008 back to Victoria, walk up to the Smithfield for a pint of ??????????? from Leadmill Brewery 3.9%, anyone know what it was please? Over the road to Bar Fringe a pint of Mutleys Revenge 3.9% followed by a Krombacher. A stroll over to Piccadilly and 158810 at 2108 to Warrington for once on time, thankyou Transpennine/evil spirit/arriva or what ever you're called at the moment! At least you kept the wife happy she was picking me up at 2130 and for once I was on time, but even if I was late I forgot to say I'd got some Blackpudding from Bury market this morning.........................................................................................
