| March 29, 2001 Fatboy Slim was really good last night. I danced the ENTIRE nite away, after drinking a pitcher of sangria at the Peel Pub by myself! It was dang good! Today may be a long and tiring day at work. Although we do have one of those competitive market meetings which should give me about 2 hours of nap time, plus the lunch crew is heading to PIzza Hut Lunch Buffet - ooh baby. Pete's back from Redmond tho, can't let myself go too far into oblivion. Hotsy,we are so taking the elevator at work today... 'cept I work on the 2nd floor. My knees are not the young things they once were. My body is very, very tired this morning. Next show, Dimitri from Paris... Ingi and I have become love advisors :)... Nic may be getting some visitors in Amsterdam :)... Amisha, I never got a chance to say congrats for Cali!... Tchao is going through puberty growing breasts and experiencing glandular problems...everyone else - salut! sacre bleu! |

| March 262001 Raptor's rock my world! Vince needed a little work on his shot and a lot of work on his defence but all in all a good game against the Grizzz. It's starting to feel like I'm living at the office. It's 7:30am right now and no one is here! I like the quiet though because I know it will get mental once everyone arrives. Had to come in early to install new build of Whistler... But: how cool would it be if Holly worked with me this summer? SOO cool! I've already started begging the people to hire her! Well at least Tchao will be around too. Ahh summer. Can't wait! Well I got all but one category in the not so original 'Office Oscar Pool'... I knew that Gladiator would win, but I had to go with Crouching Tiger for best pic ... we Chinese stick together y'kno? Plus I really thought it was a better or at least more original movie... Well, I guess I should get crackin. Fatboy this wednesday - woohoo! I think it's gonna be the last of my fun for a few weeks. The Distance Ed dragon is breathing fire down my neck!... Sleep is but a dream! (A dream that lasted til 6pm on Saturday! ha ha... can one person sleep that much?) |

| March 24 2001 What the... March 24 already? [Happy Bday Ma!] I'm taking her to see "Crouching Fat Guy, Hidden Story" this aft (aka Exit Wounds). Saw Enemy at the Gate... Jude Law is hot! I've decided to go hardcore. The weather is getting nice and I miss biking like a mofo. 'Hardcore' starts this week (after Sunday that is... don't bad diets start out this way?). But summer is coming and since I eat out twice a day I think it's time to take my health, not to mention my finances more seriously. Yesterday took the cake (pun intended). We went to Tuckers all you can eat buffet for lunch and then to Fazooli's for dinner. YUK! Not to mention my need for alcohollic beverages everywhere I go! So I'm going hardcore. I will have a stealth, ripped up body yet! I think it will be good for me anyway. This Office XP launch is gonna give me a stroke otherwise! I won't let Bill get the better of me! Boss in Redmond this week! It sounds better than it is... I have to fill his shoes now (I have little feet...) I've decided my webpage desperately needs some new pics. Got my ass whooped in pool yesterday, wasn't my fault tho, those damn tight pockets... Everywhere I turn someone's drinking a latte or a heineken. Bah. I should go to bed now. But I get to see little Ethan tomorrow! Karen too. Ooh, Becky too. T - 16 days til Montreal. I'm so excited! Mostly cuz I'm sick of the work term. Ah to think, a whole other term of the same ole... | March 19 2001 Yayyy for summer and patio on its way! Weird tho, it snowed so much in the LOO on Sat....St. Paddy's was a pretty good time altho I've never missed beer more than I did at the Bomber this weekend. It was sooo good to see everyone, especially Mel who made it all the way from OT! I'm finally feeling better too, must be that Vitamin C and Echinacea!... ok, who am I kidding. It was the Mini Eggs! Or maybe it was Shannon's green pancakes HAHA! I didn't eat any of those or else I might not be recovering yet! Watched Love and Basketball as well as The Green Mile this weekend. Both good... 'cept if only it was that easy to settle marriage decisions over one on one hoops! Talked to Sean last night... weird b/c its been like 3 months. I went to bed feeling like THE SHIT - I always knew I was supreme gf material! I feel bad how boys put up with dumb girls all the time tho! And its always those dumb girls who get the guys... | March 14, 2001 Geocities needs to get with the program. I installed Whistler aka Windows XP and now it won't let me launch pagebuilder to because it thinks my Internet Explorer is too old of a version! EEEdiot! Ah well, it's probably a sign that I really should stop being the lazy webpage builder and go back to my html days. Or maybe I could get *someone* to teach me xml? <cough> NERD! <cough>... Becky is the hottest chick I know. Who cuts off all her dreads and still looks beautiful? Not I that's for sure! I love my friends. We had the best waitress at Swiss Chalet tonight who gave us 2 plates full of warm buns! YUM! Then perused the neighbourhood Honest Eds and used CD store. We've all decided to furnish our homes at Honest Eds... How tacky does that sound? Hmmm. I'm curious to know how Survivor turned out. I'm going to avoid all radio and TV til tomorrow night because we have (yet another) bet going on who got the boot tonight. What the hell has happened to me? The biggest non-survivor fan has succumbed to the madness... Hopefully this small bout of flu goes away soon. Looking like death at work is making me really insecure. | March 12, 2001 Sooo unproductive when the networks, servers and web are all down at work. Not to mention the half day XP session! I wish this cold would go away. There's something about the human body that likes to make me cough when I'm in a meeting room full of silent people... That's about all I have to bitch about though. Things are otherwise beyond good. Almost surreal. I don't even know what to make of this whole situation. So I won't. But now I'm in a bit of a weirdo situation. When it rains it pours? I feel like a little girl all over again. I can't believe a weekend just passed by. Jenny is her usual sweet self, although it really sux that we didn't hot tub. I don't think Aaron was a big tofu fan either :) Went shopping with Sarah on Saturday. No matter how much I think I've lost my shopping disease, I'm sure it just goes into remission. Because it came back out over the weekend. Really now, it's still dang freezing outside and I HAD to buy sandals (among many other items). Burlington was fun too. I am such an alcoholic, good to know this 'no beer' thing is working so well.. Then again it doesn't take too much for me to get a bit silly! So much fun tho. I kicked ass in pool and Foxy only won that last game cuz I felt sympathy for the boys. Christi and I still have a battle in the makes for a pictionary competition. Bring it on! We're so funny, Lick's for brunch anyone? The perfect answer to a hangover first thing in the morning... Licks Customer Appreciation days here we come. It's going to be a long week... | March 9 2001 Woa Nelly. I need sleep. So why am I up typing? It's beyond me... I guess I thought that cleaning out my inbox was a bit of a necessity, with the mass mailing crew. Man can Margo type! Playdium yesterday was funtastic. I crown myself queen of artillery, or Machine-gun Mistress if you will. I finished the game all by meself! I also whooped (Steve's) ass on the motorcycle game altho I do have to bow down to Mario Andretti on the car games and Star Wars space pod game... Milestones was great grub altho we did notice some discrimination going on... "That dish is VERY spicy" (if you're white). And Nic was right, Bellini's were going down like the 90's! I'm all over the Sangria scene since giving up brew. Peel Pub... what were we thinking? Needless to say it was a very tiring day. I really did not need to consume Neo Citran when I got to the office this morn! I'm DEFINITELY sick. I know this because I didn't finish my sushi at lunch today! That has never before happened and I can assure that it never will again! It's like, sacreligious or something... My favourite Survivor Jeff was kicked off the show tonight. No, I'm not addicted like some grown men are but it's pretty entertaining in good company! I dunno how that Elizabeth chick passed up the ice cream but some respect was lost for Steve's future wife... I get to see my JJ tomorrow. Can't wait! Ingi, we miss ya too. And Karen, what's this about Hawaii? Can your life possibly get more exciting? I didn't think so... |

| March 4, 2001 Farmerlude at Hotsy's was such a good time. His farm was so cute also, I'm starting to think that I need a farm myself when I settle down. A hot tub is definitely a must, even if I its surrounded by 4 cardboard walls... Here's some memorable moments from the weekend: -"Time is more precious than mullets..." -Erica in her bikini, sweashirt, ski goggles, and Sorel boots -9 people in the hot tub, and TMo and Cah in the bathtub??? -Me, Mike, and Moguls... Although I'm impressed at my strength with staying away from coffee and beer so far, I've drank alcohol every single day since lent started. Mostly wine. And tea has become my best friend... Impressive none the less since I spent the entire weekend with a bunch o' alkys and druggies...(just kidding guys) Saturday was the perfect day. Boarding all day at Blue, sunny, warm, nice snow from the week, Hotsy and I turning pro... And ended the day with more hot tubbing and me paralyzed on the couch. All in all a great weekend. Now I'm just deprived of sleep and clean clothes. That laundry will be done this week if it kills me. I'm in the middle of a web meeting with my MSCI group right now, drinking wine, having dinner and watching The Beach. I'm definitely one for multi-tasking. 'Cept I'm starving and really need to focus on the food. In other news: Ingi, welcome to the PEARCED world... ha ha! Just be careful, once you start this body art stuff its hard to stop! |
