| June 29, 2001 yay! scored my very first run last night. too bad we lost by a sliver... came back from a huge deficit tho! yay microsox! BIG BIKE was sooooo fun yesterday too. we were ridin' and hollerin' and havin' a jolly ole time! yeee hawww... this weekend... OT... Mel, we're comin to get'cha! Bunches of ppl supposed to be there too: jules et al., steve et al., tchao, dre and his woman, christine, margo and Z i thunk... it will be my first time for Cday... thanx HOTS, you rock the party! rumour has it we're making a stop in smith falls... hee hee... ps: pixxx...=) |

| June 28, 2001 wonderland was so amazing AND we had a stellar crowd! we went on drop zone, top gun, vortex, bat, MINEBUSTER... all the good ones, aka: no SWANS. white water canyon was fun 'cept for me and Reja's WT problem... he he... we couldn't have asked for more beautiful weather! probably shouldn't have gone out afterwards last night... but well worth it! TIRED... but happy =) |

| June 27, 2001 10am: heading off to wonderland soon! so excited! haven't been in years since the 'seasons pass' elementary school days... yeah, so its true. we do nothing as coops here at MS. this week is especially brutal. i just got back from a week off and i'm already heading off to wonderland. tomorrow is the big bike (altho i'll never be like my hero big bike mike...) and baseball game, and friday is serendipity and start of a long weekend... went rollerblading yesterday... so sleepy though! waterfront trails were nice but chok full of bird doodoo... |

| June 26, 2001 5am: i'm sitting here thinking about the cheese they took away from me at customs. what i'd do for that gouda... i actually biked to Loblaws to pick up gouda but it wasn't the same not coming from gouda directly. did you know its pronounced "howda"...? enuff cheeze obsession. i'm in detox for the next few days. if you cut my arm i'm certain chocolate/cheese/pancake mixture would bleed. hmm.. could come in handy at work.. NO! i must be strong.. random thoughts: dude from work is what i picture the boss in bridget jones' diary to look like. i should watch the movie... steve is the coolest for picking me up at the airport... derek cut his hair and shaved his beard...(!!!) i should really go back to bed... this time change/insomnia combo sux... |

| June 24, 2001 ~ Chocolate Tour 2001 ~ Nic, Christi, Winger, Lester day 1: arrived in schiphol at last, head felt like about to explode. way to start the vacation; sick, tired, raining... napped... then hit up every single bar in rotterdam, went to bed very hated by the locals. day 2: amsterdam was great, did the good ole tourist stuff - van gogh, ann frank, back alley pancake house, went coffeeshopping... went to bed sicker than previous day. day 3: biking in the country side all day. saved a baby sheep! had a sunny lunch at another pancake house, then beer overlooking the south sea... felt like dying b/c so sick... lungs on fire (bronze?)... but one of the highlights of the trip... day 4: train to belgium... forgot my wallet and had to go back. antwerp turned into brussels (i'm in love with this city), which eventually turned into paris (see day 5)... but not until we tasted the city - belgian waffles, belgian chocoalte, belgian beer, belgian little patios and restaurants... and grand place, my favourite place ever... finally feeling better. day 5: midnight train to paris. train late, shady train stn... BUT arrived in paris at 7am. paris, beautiful city but bit disappointing. so big, so much traffic, noise, cars, shi shi restaurants and ppl... but climbed the tour d'eiffel (its not thaaaat big...). had croissants, coffee, experienced champs elysees, the louvre, palais royale... nice places day 6: back in rotterdam but not for long! shot down trying to rent mopeds (one day christi) and ended up renting a boat in haarlem. really pretty town, tried the baby pancake thingys in icing.. yum. crashed the boat a little, i'm now a motor boat guru! back in rotterdam, curry in a hurry, cake and apple pie! yum! lora arrived... happy bday lester! day 7: last day in amsterdam. started with the heinekken brewery, drunk by noon. went to the bloemenmarkt, sooo beautiful. spent the rest of the day incoherent and throwing up all over amsterdam. hit up the red light district. fell asleep during the sex show. friends all got wrecked... spent the night in dam square near the phallic monument, in the train stn, and at the airport. THX NIC! back to work tomorrow! ahhhhh..... my bed..... |

| June 16, 2001 Happy Birthday Shannon! My Apartment was pretty fun tonight... great turnout! Yesterday was O'Gradys with Jenny, Collin and some white African refugee who was trying to get my number. Found my fave OPG (and Critical Path) kidz at the last minute but didn't partake in the Brunny fun. Stopped only at the Horseshoe on the way home... You'd thunk I'd done my share of walking for the week! Starting to drink Perrier... Ak! Wuz goin on?!? I refuse to be an adult! Work was ridiculously bizzy; i stayed alive only b/c of the amusing coop emails going around. Something about chodas, secret gay crushes and a heavyweight match... ! |

Seems every time I leave early that's what I do. i want my damn blue fleece sweater though! disppointing shopping day since no one seems to have my size or colour (baby blu!)... prolly God's way of trying to help my addiction... | June 12, 2001 yippi kiyay! My package came today! too bad they put the wrong address on it, which is why the shipping took so darned long. Houston we have a problem. This online shopping thing is just too easy, and la senza is so cheap! What money? What transaction? My friends just crack me up... | June 10, 2001 Ah summer weather... Weekend was great. Went to Milestones for a beer then saw Moulin Rouge on friday. So i'm a sucker for romance but i absolutely loved it. ewan gave a stellar performance as usual! headed up to the LOO on sat. tan and i almost got the balls to hitch-hike but aren't skidly enuf yet... went biking with steve and managed to square myself on the middle bar and scratch up my legs, all while on the flat pavement of course... bike park/dirt halfpipe was cool tho! kegger - (mmm sleemans!) - was a good time... bit of a sausage party at first. the beefcakes were playing across-the-street frisbee which was rather amusing! summerfest was amazing as always. perfect patio weather with pleny o' shooters to go around. free mikes hard and cheap fake tattoos which i never fail to put on (w/ eric's beer) and regret later. switched shoes with matt b.ellis for a short while... cabbed to gino's... HAAA! and passed out for the night. buffet this morning was AMAZING! i love a man who buys me smores ice cream! =) |

Attempted to ride at Kelso yesterday but the trails were closed due to "rain"... it was soo sunny those bastards! We ended up going to Hilton Falls instead, really purrty but there was one trail that was a shade technical... more like rock hell! | June 2, 2001 Happy Birthday Julie! We took my honey out to Sharkey's last night - beautiful night for patio by the lake. Scary part was hanging out with some FT's from MS but it was all good. it was actually nice to see everyone that i haven't for awhile: jen, vicki, sylvester (aka sylvie), steve... and kevin davidson - mr photographer now - was the real shocker! nice pix...they are on the walls in the Q-lounge @ sharkey's so chekkem out. i definitely hit rock bottom yesterday at work, eyes bugging out, head throbbing, body aching... so i left (missed phil's internal launch party)... and went shopping! i got my shoes! soooo beautiful... we did some major damage to Sporting Life; the sports bra section is now empty thx to christi! then hit up MEC and the downtown stores. biking, rafting, kayaking, clothing... glad i'm saving all my hard earned money for amsterdam... but that's what credit cards are for! word up to my new neighbour aaron! happy moving dood. =) |
