| April 25, 2001 Spent yesterday recovering from Monday. too bad it was during meetings! smile and nod hey tan? ? going out for drinks yesterday turned into shopping too. i spent way more cash than necessary. esp since i just paid off the amex. christine and lesli are really not good for my wallet! bad girls! then we went to canyon creek - yum... too bad we're all old and were too tired to see the movie after dinner! all the new coops are starting to trickle in. its sad to see everyone leave, esp since its felt like just yesterday we started! oh well. no more nostalgia. i think elisabeth is ghandi tomorrow on survivor... hhmmmmuuaaaha ha ha ha ha!!!! :) |

| April 24, 2001 a little hung this morning. a lot drunk last nite. got to love monday nite drinking. however, it was a necessary evil for one of the most beautiful days yet this year. surprise guest of the evening was nicola - bye bye nic, we'll miss u! al frisco's was so delish. pumpkin ravioli... YUM! bubbly... YUM! shellfish (aka hives)... not so YUM... Pat surprised us all and didn't get pickles and pumpkin pie this time. Tanya wore a dress (gasp!) and becky was the cutest girl in town (or is that drunkest?) i had the best conversation on the drive home under the stars and when i got in the door, i kept knocking things over like a drunken fool. my poor mum and dad! i'm beginning to get saddened by everyone leaving for school again. i will miss le fun et le lafteur. i think that's my way of un-cheezing things. slap on a bad accent! anyhoo, the summer crew will be super duper phun but a little bit incomplete. ah well, nothing a little travelling between here and waterloo can't fix. i'll still have my tan, becky, hotsy et al. and newcomer sassi!! . the weekend was great. i'm finito with distance ed for life and a little visit to the LOO was always a treat. and i don't mean the toilet, which is also always a treat. shannon was her usual wonderful host and christi introduced me to nachos with pickles and cheese. no room at the spur, no room at phils, lots of sleepy people at mortys! spent some alone time with my bike in erindale park on sunday. hail the coming of spring! yeee ha! alCohol is the uniVersal langUage |

And there's more to come if I get my hands on a scanner... or a techie with one :) [i work for ms, this should not be difficult] just wanted to give a shout out to hotsy - welcome to nerd-dom! man, the number of my friends that have webpages is reaching ridiculous heights... distance ed is sucking a big thumb. i may be missing out on some quality spelunking with some of my favourite gals this weekend! then again, it will be great to see nic again! must be rough to be in amsterdam there... karen: i'm so happy for you... ingi: PLEASE take care of yourself - another "labyrinthitis" scare and i'll have a heart attack! if you can't dreamwild what can you do? can't wait :) Oh yes, and one more extra special shout out to one of my fave girls of all time: HAPPY BIRTHDAY ROO! i luv u becky :) captain john's here we come!!! |

| April 16, 2001 Rollo, Turtles, or Skor? Ice cream that is... I personally think that Rollo is going to come out on top. I've always been a big Turtles fan but lately I'm being swayed. Especially if you factor in those yummy single bars... MMMMMMMMM!!! Only one word of warning - caramilk ice cream is nasty. You'd think it'd be good but all it does is cause mass frustration. Hard chunks of chocolate, bends your spoon, caramel not well distributed...terrible!('cept 4 the lucky bastard who gets all the caramel). i wrote a poem (several actually). this is called THE DUMMY: hello sir i am your dummy read the output screen on my tummy i have a diet of worms made of gummy too many worms make me feel funny |

| April 14, 2001 i'm back from the wwgrave and there's just way too much that's gone on in the last week or so (hence the lack of e-updating) that it's probably not worth while to go back and recount what I've done without calling a publishing house. dimitri was fantabulous last night. it was such a difference from fatboy slim just a coupla weeks ago! the warehouse aka 'one' was lookin SLICK and tres disco, thanx to milk. we went to chinatown apres concert and experienced the worst service ever. would you like spit in your hot and sour soup? all in all a loooong day. lakeside biking can really put a person on their ass that's for sure! or maybe that's me being an idiot trying to race steve who's about twice my height and weight... the brunny was fun on thurs aside from the lineup, which in the end was in good company anyway (Rosco?). i may need to sign up for that 12 step program for people who drink on the subway. buzzz certainly knows the way to a girl's heart; triscuits and cheeze? mmmm... the past week was unproductively short! monday was the technical briefing, then the opening game (which we won!! GO JAYS GO!) tuesday was spent catching up on the 300+ emails i got on my day OOF and meeting past deadlines. wednesday was the ad agency mtng, team 'lunch' and golf. moose winooski's on thursday with the lunch cru... patio is so close we can smell it! coming soon: pixxx of montreal, farmerlude, and ottawa! ps: happy easter everybody! | April 2, 2001 The weekend was tres mild. But at least I finally got my assignment mostly done. Boo for distance ed. It's ruining my life! Had a fiasco at the office. Luc saved my life! (I locked myself out of my floor and the buiilding was empty...Luc drove over and let me in... I'm a huge loser!) Finally took my ma to see Exit wounds for real. It was actually really funny! Went on a tiny shopping spree yesterday with Steve. I'm slowly turning all the people around me into shoe-a-holics... mua ha ha ha! Realized yesterday that I can't do the "motorcycle" noise with my lips like little Brandon. I can, however, dust anyone in the "horse" noise so come test! Off to work. Another week of MS fun! |
