Quick background on this: My room mate's this really cool Indian chick who's been under a LOT of stress lately. The most recent stress? A 15 year-old pseudo-stalker. This creepy chick calls her and asks her personal questions about her relationship with a male acquaintance of hers. Well, at one point, my room mate (who I'm calling "Peaches" here, to preserve her identity) was out of the room when Creepy Chick called. Enjoy.
    *ring ring*
    "Hello?"
    " 'Peaches'?"
It should here be noted that my room mate and I sound nothing alike. For one thing, she has an Indian accent. I have a Chicago accent. She has a pleasant, melodious voice. I sound like a twelve year old on crack.
"She's out of the room right now. May I take a message?"
"Do you know where she is?"
At this point, I start getting suspicious. I know this chick's called before, I faintly recognise the voice as being hers.
"Yea, she's out of the room right now. May I take a message?"
    "Who is this?"
Her room mate. May I take a message?"
"Well, maybe you can help me."
Cos I sound so very helpufl, you know?
    "Maybe."
"Do you know where X lives?"
"X", in this case, is 'Peaches' male friend, the one this creepy chick is so interested in.
"Why do you need to know that?"
"I need to get in touch with him."
"Why don't you get his personal information from him?"
"Well, I can't get it from him if I can't get ahold of him, can I?"
"If he wanted you to know where he lives, don't you think he would have told you?"
Alas, logic fails to make any impression whatsoever on the creepy chick.
"No, it's okay. We have mutual friends and he's cool with me. I just need to know his address and phone number and stuff."
"Why don't you ask one of your mutual friends?"
"Look. I just need his address and phone number. Why are you making this so hard?"
"Why are you calling here so often? If you're friends with this guy, get his information from him."
"I told you! I can't talk to him unless I can get his number!"
"And you have a mutual pool of friends with him, and none of THEM can tell you, either?
"You know, this is coming dangerously close to stalking."
"What? What are you talking about?"
"You're calling my room mate constantly, asking personal questions about someone who doesn't know you well enough to give you his phone number. You're scary."
"I don't have to take this from you."
    *click* Bzzzz.......
    "Oh. She hung up. Shame."
