Bronchitis
Bronchitis is the acute inflammation of the membranes lining the airways which lead into the lungs.It can often recur,especially in the elderly,and is a source of chronic illhealth. Bronchitis with chest pains which gets worse with painful coughing should be referred for qualified treatment,as should any chronic condition.

            
TREATMENT;CAYENNE,COLTSFOOT,COMFREY,GARLIC,GINGER,HOREHOUND,
                                           HYSSOP,MARSHMALLOW,THYME.


CAYENNE;and to a lesser extent ginger,stimulate the circulation and induce warmth when bronchitis is made worse by cold,damp weather

COLTSFOOT;is an excellent herb to ease dry and spasmodic coughing with little or no mucus.

COMFREY;is a palliative for a painful cough with a tight feeling across the chest.

GARLIC;increase the ability to fight and resist infection,and stimulates the removal of excess mucus.It is particularly effective when used raw.

HOREHOUND;is beneficial for congestion in lungs with thick,sticky mucus which is not easily
remved by coughing.

HYSSOP;helps to cure a dry cough with irritation;it also gently releases the tension which often
accompanies a bronchial spasm.It is particularly good for child.

MARSHMALLOW;is highly soothing and used whenever the membranes are inflamed and
coughing is painful.

THYME;is an expectorant and anti-infective which helps in loosing mucus and relieving
bronchial congestion.

                                          
BRUISES

                 
TREATMENT;COMFREY,LAVENDER,WITCH HAZEL.

COMFREY;is useful in case of swelling.Apply a cold compress saturated in infusion of
Comfrey.Later,or for minor bruises,apply Comfrey Ointment.

LAVENDER;is effective if we apply a cold compress with essential oil of Levender at a rate 5 drops to ! table Spoon to 450ml of cold water.

Witch Hazel: is a remedy for swelling with unbroken skin.Use a cold cpmpress of Distilled Witch Hazel at a rate of 1 tablespoon to 450ml of cold water.
