Item! I actually don't work at 3do anymore. Can you believe that crap? Not that I quit, but that I actually stayed there for so long. If it weren't for the strong emotional attachment I had to the people I knew there, I'd have probably left sooner.
At any rate, I am now working at 3dfx under the title of Technical Evangelist. While that may give you the impression I'm some older upper-middle class white guy with a nice hairdo hitting people up for money, my job is actually pretty ordinary. I write demos to demonstrate implementation of various graphics techniques on our hardware, act as technical support for game developers, and do the whitepaper/conference travel/schmooze thing here and there. The funny thing is, what with me being inundated by graphics programming at work every day, I now find myself wanting to write games on the side. So maybe you'll see some simple ones here soon.
