Remus Lupin

I could say a lot of things here, but there's no way I could be able to express it as well, so I'll just settle for quoting one of your members:

"Oh goody! A chance to ramble and babble about Lupin! lol. Let's see, Lupins personality...

Well he's very well-mannered and polite to everyone including people he doesn't really like who are very rude to him *cough*SNAPE*cough*  lol. He's very good-natured and amiable and easy to approach. He raises everyone's spirits and never fails to smile even if it is a sad smile and greet people warmly. He's pretty talkative and good at explaining things, and yet not the kind of person who would ever be the center of attention or "the popular kid".

He's sort of quiet and laid-back and his humor is very dry and intelligent. He's still very amusing and has some classic lines and moments but he's not the Fred and George or Sirius and James funny. He gives the impression of being very easy to get to know, very open and sharing... and yet he's more difficult to get close to than you first think. He keeps a wall between him and most people; though he will still be kind and conversational with them, he never losens his tight self-control and isolates himself in this way. I see him as the kind of guy who (having tons of time by himself, lonely and secluded and misunderstood) will sit and think profound (and sometimes depressing) thoughts.

Not that other people don't isolate him. He's looked down on and feared by many wizards and so he, being his humble and slightly insecure self, wants to stay out of everyone's way and not hurt anyone. He's very humble. I love how he just shakes his head and continues packing when Harry is begging him to stay saying that he is the best teacher they've ever had. And how he talks about himself angrily about not telling Dumbledore about the animagus thing.

Not only is he this amazing, pitiful (and I mean that as in you can pity him not that he's ... not good), tragic, enduring, intelligent, kind, understanding man, he was also a marauder. He was pulling pranks right up there with James and Sirius and wandering off bounds late at night with his best pals and is an awesome guy, great friend.

There's a lot of contradictions with him. The most obvious being that he is a werewolf, a viscious, dangerous beast, and a man, a smart, thoughtful, gentle man. He is depressed, lonely, discouraged and haunted, yet he is conversational, pleasant, humorous, and encouraging. He urges students to try things and succeed, raises their self-esteem and praises them, yet turns away from opportunity himself and is very hard on himself. An example of him: "If there's one thing I've done this year that I'm proud of Harry, it's how much you've learned." Prejudice and discrimination are constantly shoved at him, but he is so completely open and caring and patient to his students. How he can possibly manage to smile for the sake of others every day and make their day despite the fact that his only friends are all gone, dead or in Azkaban is simply amazing. I love him I absolutely love him. lol. Beat that, Sirius fans.

... oh yeah this isnt' a debate room. lol.

Hmm.. I think I got a bit caried away. It's a bit long, isn't it? Ah, well..."

Long? No. Wonderful? Yes. I couldn't have said it better myself. Over here, you'll find everything about the man himself, Remus Lupin. Want to know who we'd want to play Remus Lupin in HP Movie? Check LupinMania. Are you interested in those wonderful little Remus moments? Head to the Awwww Files.
