Trust
Being the fact that online gambling is still not official by government standards yet and there is not yet a core online casino where people can trust, there will be fraud occurring for at least a while. "Trust" is the key word, and people should be aware of what they can trust on the web. In an experiment by men named Bhiru Shelat and Florian N. Eggar, they posted messages to newsgroups on gambling about how and which online casinos they would come to trust. The two men discovered, from the results of 31 participants, that 34% of the reasons they can trust certain casinos are informational content. They explained how "(p)eople like to know about the company, its staff and its policies. This includes clear information about who is behind the casino, its legal status and the fairness of its odds"       (http://www.ecommuse.com/research/publications/chi2002.pdf). A person would have to do plenty of research before they can truly be certain, though.
