We are mutants. Genetically gifted humans - and also the world's newest and most persecuted minority group. In a world increasingly filled with hatred and prejudice, we are scientific oddities ... freaks of nature ... outcasts who are feared and loathed by those who cannot accept our differences. 

Amidst the growing 'mutant hysteria' of society, one knowledgeable man, Professor Charles Xavier, has founded a school and safe haven for we outcasts. Under the tutelage of the Professor, the world's most powerful telepath, those of us who have come to the Mansion learn to control and direct our respective powers for the greater good of mankind. We fight to protect a world that fears us. Bound by a strict code of honor, we struggle against hostile Government agencies, brutal mutant enemies and many more dangers that come at us in this world so determined to obliterate us.
