Welcome to my small little place on the net.  My name is Jesse  and I'm 27 years old.  I'm 5'1 108lbs and I have short blondish/brown hair.
From the time I was born  until I was 5 years old I lived in Waterford, Michigan.  At 5 my parents and I moved to Highland, Michigan where I currently live.  For those 5 years the only medication  I took was Pancrease emzymes before I ate to help digest my food correctly.  At the age of 5 that's when I started doing inhaled nebulizer treatments.  CFer's take breathing treatments to help loosing and get up of the sputum in their lungs.  To this day (21 years) I'm still doing breathing treatments.   Back then I only did 2 treatments daily.  Once in the morning and at night.  Now, I usually  do 3.

1984 was my first hospitalization since I found out I had CF.  I was 5 years old and  was hospitalized a full 2 weeks, which back then was called a "Tune up"  13 years would pass before I was hospitalized  again.  Lucky # 13.

All my life I never had problems with my CF until my junior year in
high school in 1997.  That year wasn't  good health wise.  I was hospitalized 3 times that year.  Once  I was in for 5 days and the other time in for 2 days and the other I was in for only 4 days.  All 3 times  were due to pneumonia which a lot of Cfer's  get.  This   point in my life I was 18 years old and I could tell that my CF was getting worse.  1997 was my first time ever on home IV's.

1998 was my  senior year in
high school and I was so glad to graduate from school.  I was tired of school and  tired of walking up and down steps.  I was exhausted from walking across the school just to go to one class.  Graduation time came and I was happy to get out.  I was in the hospital 2 times  that year for 4 days  both from pneumonia.  I usually always stay in for about 2-5 days and go home on IV's for 2 weeks.  A lot of CF patients do this because there's many germs in hospital's.  Some CF patients have no choice but to stay 2+ weeks in the hospital.

I was in the hospital 2 times.  Both times was for
pneumonia.

I was in the hospital only 1 time during that year.  I was in due to my
asthma.

2001 - I was in the hospital July 2001 for 5 days due to
pneumonia and did home IV meds for 2 weeks.
I got a port placed in my arm on December 11th 2001

2002 - I was put on home IV's on April 12th due to
pnemonia for 2 weeks.  Went in the hospital on May 14th due to pneumonia & found out that I'm a diabetic (Cystic Fibrosis Related Diabetes)
2002- December 13th I was on home IV's due to pneumonia for 10 days.

2003- I was put on home IV's on April 22nd for 12 days due to a lung infection
I was put on home IV meds on September 9th for 8 days due to a lung infection and problems breathing.

2004- I was put on home IV meds on June 4th until June 11th (8 Days) due to a lung infection.
2004- I was put on home IV meds on October 6th until October 16th (10 days) due to a lung infection.
I was born in Waterford, Michigan which is an hour north of Detroit.  I was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis (CF) at 3 months of age.  I was having frequent spells of vomiting.  I had very bad swelling and the doctors thought they were going to lose me.  Something wasn't right.  I was taken to Children's Hospital of Michigan in Detroit and sure enough a sweat test showed that I had CF.
