We (a retired airline pilot and his wife) left Gloucester Docks (in England, not New England!) on April 19th 1996 bound for the Mediterranean. We sailed via the Scilly Isles, Guernsey in the English Channel Islands, then on to France, Spain, Portugal and Gibraltar. From Gib. we crossed the Atlantic to Barbados, then down the islands to Trinidad and Tobago.
Then westwards visiting many fascinating places along the way, including Curacao, Haiti, the Caymans, and Cuba.
At the time of writing (December 2002)we are in Jacksonville on the east coast of Florida.
