You, yourself, if you are a boy, you have some kind of a girl you like, she's got have a certain kind of hair color, eye color, body shape etc. And if your a girl you want a guy who owns a car, have money, who is physically fit etc. If we love in that way then we are not doing what the bible tells us to do. To love our neighbour as ourselves. Tell me, how would you feel about that people don't like you because your nose is too large or because you don't have money or you dad is not a doctor or you wear old fashioned clothes or you wear a boring hair cut. For sure it is absolutely rude and that is not the way Jesus loved other people.
Do you want to know why do I keep on comparing with what Jesus did and how He did things? Well, if yes, it is because the bible says "be the followers of God as dear children" Ephesians 5:1. In this case the bible tells to live our lives the way Christ lived His life on earth as a dear child of God.Is That Possible?!! Oh yes it is possible. You see God will never tempt us, He would never say we should do something that we can not to do. Apart from that, God knows our weaknesses. If we can't do what He says we should do, it is not an excuse that we cannot do it, because He said "... I well help you, yea, I will strengthen you, yea, I will support you with my righteous right hand." Isaiah 41:10. What we need to do is to ask for help from Him.
" What ever you ask in my name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. Whatever you ask in my name I will do it. " John 14:13,14
We young people need to understand when we give our lives to the Lord, that we have to give Him everything that we own, love and trust with our hearts. We have to know that we live in Jesus and we live by Jesus and we live for Jesus. Paul says" I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live but Christ lives in me and the life that I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God who loved me and gave Himself for me. " Galatians 2:20. Do you see my dear friend that now our lives are lived for God and actually God is living in us. When you happen to love, please try to love in God's way and see what would happen. If you have difficulties, try to ask Him what to do, when to do and how to do it.
