"And he said unto me, 'My grace is sufficient for thee:
for my strength is made perfect in weakness.'
Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities,
that the power of Christ may rest upon me."

2 Corinthians 12:9
This indeed is a comforting statement. These are true words from the mouth of God, for which every christian needs to hear and hope for. It is comforting to hear the Saviour say "My grace is sufficient" because that conveys a message of that His Grace is without end, there is no room for lack.

These words are strengthening in the season of trouble and pain. The Apostle Paul was in great pain and when he prayed to God to remove the agony he was experiencing, God did not remove it but God said
"My grace is sufficient for you, for my strength is made perfect in weakness". For this very reason Paul finds it to be gain and a pleasure to be weak and to suffer because the power of God will be manifested through his infirmity.

The grace of  God is truely amazing, it forced the man, John Newton, cry out
"Amazing grace, how sweet the sound that saved a wrech like me" This man was very sinful, commanding a slaveship and higly involved in slave trade.  The grace of God  did not look at what he was at that time but looked at what he could be. The grace of God which changed the lives of millions of men and women, small and great, poor and rich, changed my own life..

This grace of God is totally undeserved by us (humans)  that is why it is amazing. For we were owing God yet that very same God paid our debt. I am one of those who sing along with John Newton  for the very same grace touched my stoney and evil heart and made me a preacher and the dear child of God .

The grace of God does not end at the day of salvation but it carries us through our walk with the Lord. By grace we are saved, by grace we live, by grace we get to worship the Father. Without the grace of God we are cast into the lake of fire.

If you are going through hardship and great pain, do not question the Lord rather pray that His grace be manifested to such an extent that many will be saved through your suffering.
