GAME BY: Lun C.
REVIEWER: Mastermind
Graphics 10/10
Oh...My....god!! First off lun C. had a mixed set of the default tiles,
the improved default tiles and one im not to fimiliar with. But it had
some cool animated sprites like the torches. Annyways the scenes where
wonderful, the tile sets blended together perfectly. A cast of hundreds
is a good way to describe it, as their are large groups of NPC
characters in the market place and other places. Lun also got the effect
of nightfall flawlessly, sometimes it's hard to tell this game is
homemade. Wonderful opening, Lun really spent alot of time making
quality of game.
Gameplay 10/10
once again, wow!! The scenes have many scenes with large companies of
soldiers, and fight scenes that are flawlessly done, simulating
scimishes going on. The story goes that a group of kingdoms has united
and a king of one of the kingdoms got assasinated, all the examas where
killed but one, the decised examas (sorry if im spelling that wrong)
where known as the crestfallen. The whole story is played out
beautifuly, I found myself thinking I was playing a game made by
squaresoft. Several good tips can be picked up from her, like how to
make NPC characters go though a door. One of the best effect parts I saw
was the simulation of rainfall, which I think Lun also did. This game
could revelutionize the way RPG maker 95 games are made.
sound 10/10
The sound is good, one thing i can say is that lun didn't rip off any
BGMs from final fantasy 7 or Xenogears as most rpgers do, and effects
where great. I didn't reconize the music but it was good, also the
voicechip about the content was a nice touch.
Effects 9.5/10
Like i said lun did a good job of corrdinating large groups of NPC
characters into an army and even did a great job at the ambush in the
town. God only knows how long she/he worked on this game, I only have one
complaint for this area though, the abundence of events in one area
causes soem slowdown, but im not going to beat around the bush about it.
Overall 10/10
My advice: GET THIS NOW!! if you making RPGs I severly suggest that you
get this to learn some finer points about polishing your game. By the
way lun has squaresoft called you about a job yet?
Final Score: 100%
