STARTING THE GAME UP
Unlike Crestfallen: Inception I was unable to create a game disk for
Ascension. Thus, things will be a little more difficult for players to
setup. It isn't too hard though. Here's basically what you want to do.
1) Create a new directory on your hard drive(probably C:) called RPG95.
2) Create a new directoy in the new RPG95 directory called Ascension.
3) Extract all the files from the CFAscen.EXE file into this folder.
Note: CFAscen.EXE is a self-extracting file. Just double click on it
and follow the directions.

Once you do the things above you will not have to do them ever again to play the game(unless you delete the game).
To play the game you now simply have to do this.
1) Go into the Ascension folder and sort the files by TYPE. You don't have to sort them,
but it sure makes things easier. The file you're looking for is
RPG95.EXE. Double click it when you find it. Make shortcut to it to save yourself
some time later.
2) You will enter the main editing screen. Those familiar with RPG95 will instantly recognize
it. In the upper left corner is a drop menu called FILE. Click on it and slide down to OPEN.
3) Clicking on the OPEN option will open a new window. You want to find the file Ascension.RPG and open it. It is located in the Ascension folder.
4) Now, you'll see all this new information flood onto the screen. On the main screen all you need to do is take your mouse pointer and click on the button which says TEST START(yellow and blue words). It in the upper right area of the screen inbetween the MAP button and the TEST LOAD button(which you will use to load saved games). The game should now begin.
