My Theories
I am going to answer a few of the questions I am normally asked when talking to people about the floggers or other things we make for them.  Also explain some of my theories about crafting things for individuals not for mass market.  Please note these are just my personal opinions not a reflection of anyone's style or habits.
Why don't you weight your floggers?
I don't weight my floggers because I believe that if it is made correctly it doesn't need to be weighted to be balanced.  Also if I ask the right set of questions the end product is so customized to the indivitual using it that the extra weight isn't needed, it's made with thier body, strengths and weaknesses in mind.

Just to illustrate what I am saying, if someone had a bad back I am not going to make a flogger that weighs 8 lbs, It would be too much of a strain on them.  Instead I would use a different combination of leather to get the amount of thud or sting they require.
Why do you ask me about the length of my hand and forearm?
I ask this because I believe that a flogger should be an extention of your arm not an accessory.

The measurement of the length of your hand helps to make sure that the handle fits comfortably in your hand.

The length of your arm seems to help make it an extention of your arm instead of trying to fit into a mold.
Why don't you cover your handles with leather?
I don't do this because I believe that when in use the leather is easier to slip in a persons hand over the wood that I normally use.

I do use leather lacing to provide a better grip as well as decoration, but I don't cover the entire handle.
Why do you ask me about my health?
I believe in making floggers for the individual, the flogger I make for someone that is generally healthy is going to be different than for the one that I make for the person that has health issues, such as fibromyalgia, carpel tunnel, bad backs, etc.
I believe the flogger should work with you instead of against you.  You shouldn't feel that you have to step into a swing to get the sting you want to achieve.  You also shouldn't have to put everything behind a swing to get the thud you want.  Most people know not to overwork thier whips but with the mass market ones there isn't a lot of options for people that aren't close to a shop that has more of a selection than the local sex shop. I just think that if you are going to get something made for you why not get it customized just for you?
