| Threads of Fate, or Dewprism as it's called in Japan, is an anime-styled game that allows you to play as either the selfish Princess Mint, or the mysterious boy Rue. Both stories intertwine along the way, and often you're allowed to choose what the character says or does. Long ago, powerful magicians called Aeons ruled the world, and the most renowned one of all left behind an artifact known as the Dewprism; it's said that the person who finds it can have any wish they desire. Mint seeks the Dewprism for the purpose of reclaiming her right to the throne of East Heaven Kingdom and to get revenge on her little sister. Rue is trying to revive a dear friend that he lost to an ominious foe called the Arm of Death. The game very entertaining and has many comical characters, as well as admirable ones. I first played this game on a demo disk, and I liked it so much that I had to see what would happen in the end. |
