| My requests before considering a project are: 1) A descent script and if possible, time to collaborate with sound ideas before shooting begins. 2) At least 30 days (3 - 4 weeks) of time after image-lock to produce a quality mix for projects under 20 minutes. 3) A high-res DVC Pro or MiniDV tape of the project. NO SONY MiniDV TAPES Please! Starting TimeCode 00:59:30:00, include color bars and a sync pop and have the first frame of the movie at 01:00:00:00. 4) If you have sync sound, Hard Drive Recorded Audio or DAT tapes: a) I need a copy of the Sound Reports. b) A ProTools Session of your project with 10 second handles of each audio clip used in your sequence when exported to an OMF file and tranferred to ProTools. (see below for information on converting an AVID to ProTools or FCP to ProTools project.) c) The original DAT tapes or a copy of all files recorded. |
| For Non-SCAD related projects, I generally follow these guidelines. (Please remember that this is for Film and Video projects. I am not interested in recording albums, demos, or making music videos.) Studio and Recording Fees (ADR): $ 85 per hour (hour minimum unit) Editing, Mixing: (depends on length of the piece and the deadline for the project.) Mastering: (currently, I only master projects that I've mixed... this will change after school) |

| At the moment, I am a full-time student at The Savannah College of Art and Design. I am devoted to my school work and in my spare time, handle sound design and music for many student projects. I usually work on three projects per quarter in addition to my full course load. I do not charge enrolled SCAD students for my services. As students, we all need as much free help as we can get. I will continue this policy for as long as I am enrolled in SCAD. |
