After a year at Worth 1000, I was ready to move from spectator to competition.
This was my first entry.
CONTEST CHALLENGE
Use the photo; "Boots" to create a new and interesting image.

I was very pleased with the way it turned out. But as with any new thing we try; we improve with practice. I come back to review this from time to time, and see loads of things I could have done to improve it. It scored pretty well in the contest, but not as well as I had expected. I don't thoroughly understand how the final scores are tallied. But I did receive a Judge's Gold Star, and was sent a very nice email applauding it.
