My great grandfather was a man named J. W. Blair, who with his brother and two other men laid out the townsite of Columbus, NM, and promoted its development. I have over the past several years researched that development and wrote a book about the founding and early life in Columbus. It has many early residents names, stories, etc. It retails for $10.
