I wrote this between between about midnight and 2:00 am one night. It is worth noting that I am usually in bed and asleep by 10:30 pm, and so you can blame this fic on whatever was keeping me awake that night. Too much caffeine in the evening? Pizza with mushrooms and extra cheese? Neighbor having a loud party? I honestly can't remember.

This takes place during the Black Rose story arc of Utena. Ash, Misty, Brock, and Pikachu are as they appeared during the first season of Pokémon.
