But wait. Am I talking about you? Let me narrow the scope a bit. Answer the following questions:

1: Do you dislike Anti-Sailor Moon pages?

2: Do you think such pages should not exist on the Internet?

3: Do you have nothing against flaming the authors of such pages?

4: Do you pose as Princess Serenity and threaten the authors of Anti-Sailor Moon pages with punishment?

If you answered "yes" to one of these questions, you are probably having a bad day. My advice is for your to go home, take an aspirin, and get some rest. If you answered yes to two questions, you need serious mental help. If you answered three with "Yes", you are beyond mental help, and four affirmative answers puts you in the category of "stupid SM fan".

So, why am I unloading both barrels at the people I have labelled "stupid SM fans"? Well, here's an example or two:

Your site is terrible! These anti Sailor Moon pages are meaningless. Sailor Moon willl never end. Deal with it! And if you hate Sailor moon because of the animation, you are just a closed minded baka (idiot)! My constructive criticism begind now. First of all, Sailor Moon is not responsible for the actions its fans take. Then, there the matter of lesbianism. Yes, Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune are lovers. Grow up! They have never kissed, or told each other they love one another. The highest I've seen it go is hand holding, and the occasional comments. Nothing extremely obvious. Sailor Moon has never abused Luna. You get that stupid notion out of your head right now. They are very good friends. Sailor Moon's role in the anime/manga is NOT to teach us that being lazy, ditzy, a crybaby, and a scaredy cat make us a heroine/hero. It's to teach us that ANYONE can be a hero, even if they aren't smart, or brave, or graceful. And that people can change. Usagi/Sailor Moon does get much better as time goes on. But I doubt you'd know that. I don't think you've done your research. And Usagi has always been forgiving and friendly. She could probably forgive you for this site!!!! And Sailor Moon is NOT demeaning to girls. For your information, I'm a raging feminist, and I find nothing wrong with Sailor Moon. Sure, Tuxedo Kamen does save them on occasion, but it's the Senshi (who are all female) that save the world! Unlike the Power Rangers ::starts gagging:: the Senshi don't just transform and destroy the monsters. They have real personalities, and friendships that evolve over the seasons. Again, your lack of research probably didn't let you know this. Sailor Moon has girls with real personalities, who start out lonely, until Usagi and their destiny bring them together. They undergo challenges YOU can hardly imagine, and through it all remain friends. It's not about girls in skimpy outfits destroying monsters. Its about bishoujo Senshi (pretty soldiers), fighting for goodness everywhere. And minna (everyone). Even you. You must really have an inferiority complex, I have never understood that need to drop japanese words in where it isn't necessary, generally only people who think that the Japanese are oh so much better than the Americans do that. Suprise, they are just as fascist and scumy as we are! Ok, I guess this is so long it deserves more than a one liner, so here goes. Raging Feminist? You mean the way Pat Robertson is a raging feminist, right? Also, I don't think i'm the one who needs to grow up since i don't have a problem with homosexuality in the least, if you were actualy doing your research, (see banner below message board link and ask anyone posting on the message board) you would have know that. I obviously know that Luna wasn't abused, it's called a "parody," once again, not doing your research, kiddo. Lastly, I think you need to calm down, it's a cartoon, and no, you will not "punish me" in the name of anything. Whew, the responses are getting longer. Oh well, it's better than the old message board crap from all those bigots.

As a fan of Sailor Moon, I find it odd that I would be defending an Anti-SM webpage author, but these and other posts by fans just need to be responded to.

I am dismayed at the intolerance shown by these people. It's okay to be intolerant as long as you don't push that intolerance onto other people. By reading the posts above, one could easily get the idea that Sailor Moon fans are indeed, intolerant.

So, you might ask, what's wrong with being intoleratn, especially against people who are doing horrendous anti-Sm pages. To that, I might say, "So, the First Amendment only applies to you or people who agree with you?" The correct answer to this is of course not, but that's not the way some SM fans act. They figure that Anti pages should be torn down.

And then there's the verbal abuse these people heap on Anti pages. Go back up and read the examples I got from Kill Our Scouts, and read them out-loud and put the proper emphasis on the words. Hear the anger in your voice? Hear the venom? And these are things that Sailor Moon fans have written, and remember that Sailor Moon is above all else, a story about how love can help a person conquer adversity. In fact, when given the opportunity, Sailor Moon uses the power of love to help even the enemies she fights against. The use of vulgarity doesn't demonstrate this sort of thing.

There is, of course, overdoing it. Saying things like: " If you can't understand this, then For love and justice, a bishoujo Senshi in a Sailor fuku, Sailor Moon! On behalf of the Senshi, I will punish you!!!!" is just laughable. What does this person hope to accomplish besides making themselves look really really stupid. And the thing is, they DO accomplish this very well. They say a lot, and it means absolutely nothing, even if they were making a good argument, which they were not.

I like the fact that Anti sites put these flames up for people to see. For every mainstream intelligent Sailor Moon fan, there is at least one fan in serious need of a brain transplant.

People who run Anti sites have a lot of guts and they endure a lot of abuse from people who wish they'd simply go away. However, the existence of the Anti sites is a vindication that the First Amendment is alive and well on the Internet, and that it works.
