This lab will showcase block-level HTML tags. Most text on a web page should fall inside a block level tag. Block-level tags include headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, and preformatted text. Headings and paragraphs can be aligned with the ALIGN attribute.
Visit webmonkey and you will find a very useful site for beginning web developers. The site has reference information and tons of tutorials to master HTML, scripting, programming, and more. The cool thing about the site is that it is all written in a down-to earth style that makes it easy to learn.
1. Browser (Firefox, Opera, Internet Explorer, Netscape Navigator, others)
2. Resolution (standard resolutions of 800x600, 1024x768, and 1200x1024)
3. Color (stick with the 216 browser-safe palette)
4. Platform (consider computer types and operating system versions)
5. Connection (keep the file sizes low for slower connections)
6. System (computers use a variety of different hardware - be mindful of differences)
