| About this site: ------------------------------------------ I don't really know why I am putting this up but I am glad that you want to read it. Well, this site was started in January of 2000 by a person who wanted to have a Sailor Moon web site with what I considered "the best pictures of Sailor Moon". Well, that lasted for a while but on May 18, 2000 I decide to make a site dedicated to two little know characters of Sailor Moon. Thus, The Chibi Chibi and Princess Kakyuu Shrine was born! Soon I got the hang of the web site so I started building the pages (yes with pagebuilder) ^_^ and started applying for awards, which normally came back as good scores. I usually would get the kawaii awards cause the site was so damn cute. Well, after downloading Paint Shop Pro I started making some of my own graphics because I was finding it impossible to find any thing that suited my site. After making some graphics I decided to redo my site; I did not chage a lot but it was different. With buttons as links, an oval pic of Kakyuu and Chibi Chibi in the center, and banners for each section. I would add pics evey now and then but I thought that I was pretty much done. Then I started helping another webmisstress with her anime site and in some ways abandoned my site. Every now and then I would apply for a review but I would never get a reply. Did this mean something? Well, then in May 2001 I applied for a review at Sunshine Reviews, thinking that with a name like that it would be an okay one. Now don't get me wrong. I did not think that I was going to get a great score but I did not think that it would be really bad. Well, anyway, I got this one back but it was not at all good and made me rather mad. She just gave me criticism and nothing constructive I could use to help my site. Many others agreed with me and did not understand where the reviewer was coming from. But anyway, that was enough with that. It was the emails I got back from people that I had asked about what I should do that made me decide to totally redo my site and even use html instead of PageBulider. So then there was Version 3.0. I learned a lot from redoing the site then. The theme of the off colors just came to me and I really liked the black Chibi Chibi background. I was kind of more seroius cause I really didn't want to be a kawaii as my other versions were. Also, I got really tired of typing The Chibi Chibi and Princess Kakayuu Shrine on stuff cause it was so long that I just now call it The Shrine. A lot of the sections also came while I was listening to my Moulin Rouge soundtrack and without that I don't think that I could of done it (that is a really good movie I recommend that you go rent it. ^_^) Well, then Stephie goes to college. I really did not have much time as I thought I would to work on this and my other sites because I was busy with java homework and paper after paper to write. It took me forever to be able to have the frames to be set up the way I wanted them for Version 4.0. That version I went really pink and why I'll never know. It was sort of too complicated to be able to change easliy so that was the main reason for not ever finishing certain sections. And also, working this summer seemed to keep me from working on the page. I am still trying to set up Got Manga? on a different address so that I have more room here. So that is why it is not open yet. So after being fed up with the pink layout I just sat down one night (In fact the night that I should of been packing for college) took the pic that I always use of the two of them and created 5.0. I really don't know what I think of it but that I just wanted something else, something simple: black and white and arrows. Well, thanks for reading this lovelyness (is that a word?)
