WYSKA: WYSKA : Commonly known around as Zafi, Zafirah grew up in a Hold, with both of her parents as Journeymen, and her two sisters. Zafirah became a Tanner apprentice when she was old enough, but oddly, she stayed about as an apprentice a little longer. Her family's reputation is fairly obscure, though they are simple folk.Zafirah is known for being a lugger-about'er of hides around the WeaverTanner Crafthall. However, she came to the Weyr at the age of 19 turns after being Searched. Zafirah was surprised, but she seems to have taken to her new lifestyle, despite the chores, pranks and endless 'bronzeback' rides for the little ones. Zafirah is a simple sort of gal, though she can be remarkably observational from time to time. She tends to side with the underdog, and hangs about with shorter candidates, often lending her height and muscle out. Zafirah /tries/ to act stoic, but she usually fails, revealing her goofy excitableness (OOCly, someone compared it to a golden retriever.).
To be added to WYSKA: Now that she has Impressed Callenth, Zafirah has become more thoughtful, and a greater pillar of support to her fellow Weyrlings. Unfortunately, she's still a little out of touch with the dramatics around her, though she tries to keep aware of affairs. She's the sort one could go back and talk to, without worrying word'll get out. Callenth is a loving, sturdy fellow who pushes Zafirah to test herself, knowing she has a lot of strength pent up (Even if she holds it back all the time.).
History:Zafirah's bio can be found here: Bio! It's a bit rough, since a lot of it was done when I first got here, and it's really hard to put into words how much Zafirah has changed. As I've mentioned on the front page, Zafirah's initial concept was a lot different than what she is today. I think a word that describes Zafirah would be 'powerful'. In all that she does, it reflects a force of will, a certainty, and a strength I hadn't planned on at first. Just as the seasons on Pern march on, Zafirah marches along with them unwaveringly. For all the power, though, Zafirah is, at heart, rather excitable and eager. Where K'tag is quiet and emotionless, Zafirah seems to wear her heart on her sleeve, and tends to do the talking when the two work together (As evidenced by the fact when commissions came around, it was always Zafirah talking.).

Likes: Pastries, berries, fire lizards, working, klah.
Dislikes: Needles, liars, malicious gossip, cider. That sort of thing.
