Oh, sure. I've got the attention span of a gnat on a caffiene high. This means I don't have time to be cruising tons of top ten Pern site lists! So, Callenth and Zafirah have picked out a nifty site of the moment (Updated whenever Zafirah remembers to, mind.).
All the Weyrs List. A handy-dandy reference of /all/ the dragon names used, either by books or from games.
Why we like it: Sure, it's fun to giggle at Blleaaaaaaarggth, or Ueoiuyesyth, or even Zxtgytnzyzyth, but it can also serve as inspiration, or give you pointers on what to avoid (Does the world need another Zezezezezezeth?). The names used in the books are there, too (Anne says you can't use those names, and it would be pretty silly, anyhow! A dragon is tailored to its Impressee, after all. Ramoth probably wouldn't get on too well with Zafirah, for one thing.), for those Search Co. people who don't have time to go through all the books just to double check a name. Besides, you'd want your dragon's name to be the greatest thing since Sliced Breadeth, and not a slightly garbled rip-off of a canon name, wouldn't you?
