You never really know where a character concept will go, at times. Zafirah turned out to be a lot different than where I'd planned her to go (If she hadn't Impressed, she would have tried to walk the tables to become a Journeyman.). I never really thought Zafirah would Impress, because I always felt like I was the one candidate who was a little behind (There is a very good reason I'm good at playing slower PCs. ;P Guess!). I also never expected Zafirah to Impress brown, because a female PC Impressing brown is a pretty rare thing, Zafirah was a new PC (I squeaked by the last day of OOC Search, and haven't regretted it since!), and I wasn't quite boarded onto the Clue Train. Happily, Telinda and the others put up with me, and I found all my old buddies at SouCon.
The taller a PC, the greater likelihood something will crash into them. See: Green Firelizard Fern.
The chance of your dial-up dieing increases exponentially with each egg that hatches, and your PC hasn't Impressed.
Poking hatchlings of any sort is a bad idea. They really are that hungry.
Bronzeriders tend to go nuts after awhile, if they weren't to begin with. Case in point: Sh'drian! *ducks.* Just kidding. We love you, Shad. Er, put down that large rock...
