This is another "description page." In this case the teacher would insert the students' description of the closet. It too could be based on spooky examples from text and incorporate vocabulary words that are connected with the closet.
I use closets a lot in this treasure hunt. This closet in particular is special, because it's the only transfer point from Path 2, which is doomed, to Path 1, which is a win/lose situation. Likewise, it can take the student from Path 1 to Path 2
If the student comes in from Path 1 and clicks on the correct link, the student can skip several rooms on that path. Perhaps by going this way, they're circumnavigating  danger? Or maybe they miss a clue? This is up to the teacher to customize on their own. But it is important that they remember, in the building of this mystery, to be consistent with the clues.
