If you ask most people, they'll probably say that Sylphiel is one of the weakest characters in the series.
Ths is completly false. She's one of the few who can actually use the Dragon Slave better than Lina Inverse herself!
I never saw the episode myself, but from all the info I've gathered, it seems to be true.
On another subject, she doesn't have the infamous temper of Lina. She's actually quite the opposite. She knows a little bit of Black magic, but it's quite weak (excluding her Dragon Slave). Her REAL specialty is white magic. In volume 8 (I think... I have to watch the series again...) she saves Lina after she get blasted by Kopii Rezo. She takes her to another place, (with the help of Zelgadiss' shield) and uses one of her strongest healing attacks she knew. While there, she gets the Blessed Blade (which she kinda took from the shrine ^_^;) and gives it to Lina to kill Kopii Rezo. I would give her the credit for his death because if she hadn't warned Lina of the Giga Slaves power, not only would Lina have killed kopii, but also the entire world!
