| Xelloss first enters the series when Lina was out gathering information on the Clair Bible. The others caught up to her, and after she gave her reason for utterly destroying a bandit hideout, Xelloss appeared nearby, and complimented Lina on her philosophy. Later on, he destroys a copy of the Clair Bible, making it seem as though that was his mission all along. His actual misson was to make sure Lina didn't get killed and to watch out for another Dark Lord, Gaav. Xelloss Metallium's creator/mother is one of the Dark Lords under Ruby-Eye Shabranigdo's ruling, Since Zelas never created both a Preist and General, Xelloss takes up both roles, and because of that, he has extra power. One of the pother Dark Lords, Gaav, even admits his level of power is above that of a normal Priest/General. The nicknames Mysertious and Trickster Priest basically tell you what kind of personality he has. One of the tricks he commonly uses on Lina, is sneaking kisses when she least expects it (naughty Xelloss!). He also like to torment our favorite depressed chimera by constantly annoying him by popping out of nowhere, mocking him, once destroying a copy of the Clair Bible, and, well, just acting overly happy! ^__^ Quoting from one site, Xelloss english actor 'sounds like a nerd with a sinus problem'. I don't think he sounds too bad, but it could have been better if he had deepend his voice a bit. Nevertheless, it all works out! In one of the Slayers NEXT episodes, Lina and friends (with Xelloss of course) come across the Valley of Dragons. One of the leaders remembers Xelloss, and lets him do whatever he wants. The reason for this is because thousands of years before in the War of The Monsters Fall, Xelloss had appeared and killed thousands of dragons in seconds. Since Milgasia, the aformentioned dragon, was there, he didn't want that to repeat. Therefore, he led Lina to the Clair Bible. Xelloss' true intentions are a secret from the beginning of the series, but more gets revealed throughout. Underneath, I'll type his intentions. Since it's a spoiler for the story, you'll have to scroll down to read it! -^_~- Xelloss' tru intentions are to keep Lina alive in order to kill Gaav. The reason he his doing this, is because Xelas Metallium lent Xelloss out to Hellmaster Phibrezo, therefore Xelloss has to follow (most of) his orders, which is to kill Gaav, the traitor.
