Okay, I'll have everything from here to here' she said, pointing out about 12 items. The waiter double-taked. 'EVERYTHING!?' Next was Gourry's turn. 'And I'll have this, this, this, and this. Triple portions!' 'TRIPLE PORTIONS!?' A little while later, Lina and Gourry where eating and fighting over food. Lina: Hey gimme! Yet, another little while later, they where leanign back in their chairs. Lina sighed. 'I think I'm full!' 'There's still some soup left. Why don't you have it?' 'Oh, no. my stomach looks like it's ready to burst! See?' 'Wow... it makes your chest look even smaller...' 'HEY! WHAT'S THAT SUPPOSED TO MEAN!?' 'I didn't mean-' 'Ahem' Lina and Gourry turned around. Standing next to them, was a small old man. 'Excuse me, but I was wondering... Are you by any chance, the renound sorceress Lina Inverse?' 'As a matter of fact!' Gourry was shocked. 'WHAT!? Why didn't you tell me you were a sorceress?' 'What was I supposed to do? Hit you over the head with a lightning bolt? DIDN'T THE OUTFIT GIVE YOU A CLUE!?' Gourry looked closer at her choice of clothing. 'OH! I thought it was a school uniform!' Lina's fell forward, her face splashing the soup infront of her. 'what kind of school kid wears this!? I bet you never even went to school!' The old man decided to speak up here. 'Please! Please!' Lina and Gourry looked at him. 'This village needs the legendary bandit killer, Dragon Spooker, Lina Inverse. You must use your power to save us!' He began to fake cry. 'You're a Dragon Spooker?' Lina gave the guy an odd look 'I'm okay with this bandit killer thing, but why did you call me the dragon spooker?' 'It means dragons step pasty out of clear revulsion'. Lina was outraged. She picked up a chair and held it over her head.'Why you!' 'Lina, stop! He's just a little old guy!' She put down the chair reluctantly. '...All right! What do you want with me?' |
