When the Principality of Zeon began its "Unified Maintenence Plan", the MS-09R Rick Dom was redesigned and became the MS-09RII Rick Dom II. The upgrade improved many of the Rick Dom's systems such as thrusters and overall maneuverability. Due to late deployment, the Rick Dom II saw limited action during the One Year War.
