The boy of the Dragon Eye prophecy. The one to unite all races together to fight the evil of the world and to bring back the power of the dragons. He was born on the Island of Breala, a son of the High King Davnon Arnsday. Two years into his life, a force of invaders came to Breala to kill the child of Prophecy. When Vlad's home was attacked, the High King charged Sir Minos Jamiro with the care of Vlad, to keep him safe so that he can fulfill his destiny and sent them off to escape.
For fourteen years Vlad lived as a farmboy under the protection of Minos. Never knowing about who he truly was. Told that his eye was birth deformaty, caused by a magic spell. He was taught many things by Minos, but always wondered why Minos felt his education was so important. It was not likely that Vlad would amount to anything, and he never wanted to do anything more than tend fields, take care of livestock, read books, and live peacefully with no worries. He was happy with his life the way it was. Then the dream came, and the Eye had awoken.
Vlad's dream contained images of people, places, and most of all, dragons. Visions of things to come. The next day he told Minos of the dream, Minos knew that it was time and explained to Vlad who he really was. A boy of prophecy, chosen to unite the world, and bring peace to all the lands on Aeris. The story sickened Vlad, he was overwhelmed at hearing who he was. Never in his life had he felt more afraid and weak than he did from that day forth. He did not want such a difficult task, he did not want to carry such a heavy burden. Chosen against his will, Vlad felt he could never do what this prophecy would require of him. Nevertheless, Minos and Vlad set out for the Crystal Isle, to seek counsel with the Grand Wizard.
At this time Vlad is very vulnerable, he has little skill in magic or fighting. To prepare him for what is to come, Guardians of the Eye are chosen through Vlad's visions. When something is about to happen Vlad receives a vision in his mind. He knows what to do next and how the immediate future should unfold. The Guardian's appear in these visions and Vlad knows that they are to join him and protect him. Many will join him on his journeys, and at some point he will have to meet his dragon twin, Syndor, and face the Demhar. At this time however Vlad does not want the responsibility and struggles with his will constantly. Hopefully somewhere down the path, he will find his strength and fulfill his destiny.
